What is a snail mail club?

 

A snail mail club is a monthly subscription where members receive a thoughtfully curated envelope delivered straight to their mailbox. Unlike a digital newsletter, everything arrives on paper — something real you can hold, open, and look forward to every single month.

Each Rooted Post mailing includes a handwritten-style faith letter, a Scripture reflection card, a Bible study, original artwork, themed stickers, and creative journal prompts. The goal is simple — to create one intentional pause in your month. A moment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with God and with a community of people opening their envelopes alongside you all across the country.

It's called snail mail because it celebrates exactly that — slowness. Intentionality. Something tangible and personal in a world that moves too fast and feels too digital. There is something sacred about a letter that traveled miles just to reach your hands.

 

When do I get my letter?

 

Subscriptions must be placed by the 20th of each month to receive that month's letter. Subscriptions placed after the 20th will begin with the following month.

Letters are then packed and shipped. Depending on your location, delivery typically takes 3–7 business days from the ship date.

The beauty of snail mail is the anticipation of awaiting a little gift in the mailbox every month. However, if you believe something is wrong, please feel free to reach out to us by email! 

 

What if I need to change my address? or cancel my subscription? 

 

Just email me at olive@therootedpost.com and I can update/change your address or end your subscription.

Make sure to email us before the 20th of the month so we can adjust your address or subscription before sending out your letter.

 

What if I didn't receive my letter?

 

If your letter doesn’t arrive, email us, and we’ll try our best to make it right!

Sometimes letters bounce back to us. We usually wait until the end of the month to allow time for any returns, then resend them to you. We’ll also contact USPS on your behalf if a letter goes missing. And if all else fails, you’ll receive a refund for that month.

A note on timing: If you sign up before the 20th of the month, you’ll receive that month’s letter. If you sign up after the 20th, your first letter will arrive the following month.

 

What charity does The Rooted Post support?

 

A portion of every subscription is donated to a charity we prayerfully select each season. We choose organizations doing faithful, quiet work in areas of women's health, family restoration, hunger relief, and Christian missions. Each month we share in the letter and on our website which organization we are currently supporting and why. We believe generosity is part of being rooted — and we want your subscription to reach further than your mailbox.

 

Do you offer bulk subscriptions?
